In implementation of the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and in line with its interest in addressing societal issues, and based on the guidance of the Dean of Al-Hussain University College, Prof. Dr. Saleh Mahdi Ma’arij Al-Qura’awi, the Continuing Education Unit organized a scientific symposium titled “Combating Drugs and Religious Extremism.”
The lecture was delivered by Dr. Salah Al-Safi, while the symposium was moderated by Assistant Professor Dr. Rasool Mohammed Imran, with the attendance of representatives from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, a number of esteemed college professors, and a group of students.
The symposium addressed the impact of drugs in reinforcing manifestations of religious extremism. During the session, the floor was opened for discussion to answer the attendees’ questions and inquiries.
At the conclusion of the symposium, the participants reached a set of recommendations aimed at enhancing community awareness and reducing these negative phenomena.
